I am having the same problem. It occurred after I downloaded the Windows 10 anniversary update. Flyinside will not execute FSX or Load Oculus software. I considered rolling back to the previous version of Windows 10. I have not I am hoping there is a fix to this issue other than a reload of the base windows 10. Flyinside did work with the pervious version of Windows 10. FSX works in standalone mode with Steam. No dice with Flyinside installed on the machine. Help!

It seems that the windows anniversary update breaks some functionalities
Can you guys check if you have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed? If not, please update them and try again

Thanks for the reports, and sorry for the trouble! I'm stuck traveling today (Easter weekend) but will look into it first thing Monday morning.

Thanks,

Same issue. After uninstalling FlyInside, I can run FSX again.

Very frustrating, because I uninstalled FSX entirely at first, to reinstall. Which means all my addons etc...

Anyway, it really seems to be something with FlyInside not working well with Windows 10's most recent update.

Glad it's not just me. I built a new computer a few days ago, and I'm guessing when I installed a fresh copy of windows it installed their new "creator update" or whatever. When I click FlyInside steam shows "Running" for a second but nothing happens. I've reinstalled flyinside, and even FSX, deleted all configs, updated drivers, and a bunch of other things, but no luck. Uninstalling FlyInside makes it so I can start FSX though.

Hi All,

After a long and mildly painful Sunday night we've got the cause of this new crash / incompatibility tracked down  I'll link a patch for testing in this thread tomorrow, and assuming positive feedback, have a hot-fix out by Tuesday.

Thanks,
Dan
