D3d11.dll Again!!

Postby akars » Wed Mar 29, 2017 6:43 am

Hi Tony. Running Windows 10, and P3d 3.3, installed Flyinside, and worked like a charm. Played 3 days without any trouble. But later on, messing with flightfx (installed and try to run with p3d in normal mode (noVR))), got the "The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library G:\program files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\d3d11.dll. " message.
I unistalled flightfx, flyinside, P3D.
reinstalled P3d, and worked fine.
reinstalled Flyinside, and got the same message again.
Deleted Flyinside, and P3D loaded normally.
So, somehow Flightfx messed with something that now Flyinside cannot cope with.
Any ideas?
thank you in advance.

Send me a link to the software and I'll reach out to them. Hopefully our devs and their devs can hook up ;)

FligthFX is just a GUI App. Works with sweet fx. here is the link for the file .http://www.777studios.net/ROF_Utilities ... X_V1.0.zip so you can see what it does.
I dont plan on this app to work with your software, just need some ideas to get your software working back again.
I´m really stucked here.

You need to go to your Rise of Flight folder and see if that particular dll was removed. Something didn't uninstall from somewhere. This is defo causing a conflict with Flyinside. Did you delete the flyinside folder in the appdata/roaming folder ? If you do this then don't forget you will lose your joystick assignments and activation of Flyinside. You will have to do this again. Also when you uninstall P3D you get left with folders all over the place. Go to the Lockheed marting folder in Appdata/roaming and in the P3D folder rename or delete your p3d.cfg then restart Flyinside which will restart P3D and see how that goes mate?

Ok. Just to confirm: I didn´t have Rise of flight installed in my sistem, just FlightFX (the GUI modifier).
I did unistall; FlightFX, Flyinside and prepar3d with every folder that i know of. /including app/roaming.
Reinstalled prepar3d, up and working.
reinstalled Flyinside; I get the error message on both p3D´s; the Flyinside one and the normal one.

Fixed!!
I detached the HD that included the P3D installation, just to make sure where the problem was.
Cleaned every single file on the windows HD refering to either P3d, flyinside or flight fx.
Made a fresh install of P3D and Flyinside, on the windows HD, and Voile!!. worked like a charm.
So now I know that any possible trouble is inside de Hdd containing the original installation of P3d.
Clean and reinstall.
Thank you for your help, Tony and Stevil.
