Cross-eyed sort of....

Postby Kheilbr1 » Mon May 01, 2017 3:15 pm

Hi,
Browsed and searched a bit but not sure what to call it! Anyway, updated versions for FSX and P3D. FSX is fine. In P3D the initial screen for the plane seems zoomed (e.g. I am only seeing the top of a spinning plane). If I ignore this and go to fly it appears my left eye is pointing 30 degrees left of center, and the right eye is showing a view maybe 45 to 60 degrees right. The view in the right lens is zoomed in quite a bit if I move my head so I can see the panel. Any ideas?

In Flyinside UI ensure you haven't set up a rotary or slider as the zoom function? If you continue having problems then find the flyinside folder under appdata/roaming and save the cfg or rename it old and start again. See if the problem persists ?

Thanks Tony. Keeping this info in case problem returns. Got desperate and uninstalled P3D. Reinstalled P3D and flyinside for P3D and it worked again. Didn't have any issues with P3D on monitor. Not sure what changed. Maybe the combination updated the CFG file? Thanks again for help. Will Try if repeats to avoid reinstall!

Hi,
Been down for a while. Thought I had the problem resolved but it still causes weird view. I found the appdata\Roaming directory but there isn't a config (CFG) of any sort in there.

OK. Think you meant the INI file so I did as said. Still seeing cross-eyed and seemingly zoomed. Also blurred. I checked the zoom settings and nothing is Bound.
Any more ideas?
