I quit!!!!! Tried everything, as last resort made a fresh install of P3D, with a clean install no addons, no OCs, almost all services killed in windows just P3D and flyinside same thing...

In 2d P3D runs great no problems, so i guess the problem is flyiniside in my system, since i dont have this issue with any other game in VR.

Going to wait for the native VR support for XP11...for now my flight sim days in VR are delayed :(

Really sorry to hear about all the trouble you're having. I haven't seen anything like this, and I've done a lot of testing on a 1080 Ti myself, so there's something odd and unfortunate going on

If you're willing, could you try one more thing before giving up? Under FlyInside Menu -> Settings -> Graphics
-Change "Asynchronous Timewarp Mode" from "High-Speed" to "Low-Speed"
-Uncheck "Enable Shimmer Reduction"
-Restart FlyInside P3D, please let me know if it helps.

Thank you, and my apologies,
Dan

Dont need to apologize Dan, you guys made a fantastic product here, and my opinion didnt change because of this, i recommend Flyinside to anyone that ask me an opinion about it, the problem im having, from what im seeing is specific to my system, dont know why... but as to be because i dont see anyone else complaining about this issue.

Later one im going to try those changes and i give you feedback!

Thank you for the support!

No go! High-Speed, Low-Speed, Shimmer, no Shimmer always the same thing, so i guess im done unless you have some miracle for me.
The most funny thing is that i cant even play XP11 with the demo, crashes with a OpenGL error lol, Flyiniside definitely doesnt like my system.

Important to say that i already had this problem with my previous card(980ti) but was way more random.

I know we are clutching wildly at anything to help but have a little nose at this video. Xplane I know but it is win10 and may cause issues ? = https://youtu.be/ORNnb0gIUgk

Edit* also ensure any anti-virus is disabled or in game mode when flying ???

Hello Tony,

been away this weekend, thats why i didnt reply earlier.

I dont have firewall or anti virus in my gaming computers... and yes i have win10, but as in P3D i can play Xplane in 2d without problems!

Forget Tony, for now im in 2d peasent mode in my fligh simming, im going to wait the release of the support for P3D v4 and see whats the behavior, one more reason for you guys to speed up the V4 support

Thank you again for the great support.

Chris a 1080 would be enough but remember that most sims these days are gpu AND cpu dependent. A good later model cpu is good future proofing as is a good card. But giving advice what to buy and then you still having issues would make me feel tremendously guilty !!! We can only advise with our experiences but I would never recommended :) so my experience is with a really good gpu, cpu, motherboard, ddr4 ram and a powerful psu. That's my tuppence worth ;)
