Flickering 1080ti

Postby dblue_one » Mon Sep 04, 2017 10:11 am

Hello,

I recently upgraded my card to a 1080ti and im having issues with flickering inside de cockpit, first times i played P3D whit this card i didnt notice anything but now im having this issue more often, is a kind of flickering/flashing of some textures from time to time. Doenst happens in the monitor just in Flyinside.

Appreciate some sugestions to solve this.

I have P3D v3.4
Specs on my signature.

Thank you

I haven't noticed any issues . Are you using only one graphics card because I used to use two cards in SLI and remember seeing flickering once after a driver update because SLI had been turned on. I disabled it and all was well.

My advice is to delete FlyInside folder located in the Users \ Your User Name \AppData|Roaming

Flyinside will create these files again

What i have is different, i dont have issues with performance, im getting average 50/90 with middle/high settings.
My issue is flickering of some textures, for example imagine yourself inside de cockpit of the Airbus 320 and main panel flashes from is natural colours to other colour(normaly white) for a second...and that happens all over the place in the cockpit from time to time in different parts... and in all planes.

Really dont know what to do more, this completely ruins the game...i tought in a driver issue but everything else runs flawlessly, by the way the 1080ti is a beast this card was born for VR, but one of the main reasons i bought it was to play P3D with flyinside, and like this is impossible :(

Hope to hear some ideas how to solve this, this as to be some setting in the game!!!

Do you have afterburner or your card tuner running in the background ? I remember reading somewhere on the Oculus forums that users were getting similar problems there. I'll try and find the post mate.

Rift or vive I'm sure that's the answer. Try disabling or uninstalling afterburner altogether.
