Firmware update WARNING

I haven't had a problem with updates from Windows or Oculus till now, but I just did a firmware update of the Oculus and now P3D shuts down when I try to start it. I see the VC on the desktop screen in the headset but it never puts me all the way into the VC... then I see the Oculus home screen. No joy, no error message

Stupid me; after a re-boot P3D with Flyinside loads no problem...
