FSX fatal error on touching any button

Postby Magoosteruk » Mon May 15, 2017 1:40 pm

Hi
New here so please be kind.
I am running fsx on an alienware aurora R4 desktop with nVidia 1070GTX card. The sim, add ons etc run fine, as does flyinside however as soon as I try to operate any button/control within simulation fsx encounters a fatal error. I have recently also added Leapmotion and can see hands fine but again, as soon as i touch any control/switch within simulator, same fatal error.
Just wondered if this is a known issue and any resolution has been posted previously? (I waded through but couldn't see anything).
FSX in VR is so awesome, I really want to get this fixed. Many thanks in advance.

Sorry Tony, Thrustmaster Hotas X but also does it when selecting any controls with leap motion (ie no button presses)

Thanks

will do a fresh install of FSX + FlyInside + Leap Motion which hopefully will get it working and then test after each add in to see if its one of them thats causing the issue.

Dave we had a user here who had a similar problem. He could not get things to work with Win 7 and Leap. I personally advised Win 10 as this is a much more stable OS. Any plans to upgrade ?
