Look at a button and press interact...

Postby generalompa » Tue May 16, 2017 8:29 pm

Just downloaded Flyinside, but can't get past the menu where I have to choose the interactive button on my touch controllers. I choose the button, and it is registered, but then it want me to look at the button and press the button I chose. It says that I will see a blue "dot" that I can point at the button, but I don't have such a dot... ;-).

Certainly a stupid bad that I've missed, but anyone have the short answer?

Thx

Sorry missed this. Whilst connected with the controllers, remove the batteries then put them back in, I think this was what you have to do ? Should work then. Fix in the works for this issue. I'll try and find the post if that doesn't work.

Ok this is the procedure =

1. Run "Reset FlyInside XP Settings" from your Start Menu.
2. Take the batteries out of both Oculus Touch controllers.
3. Run FlyInside, pick an interaction button, press "Try" and go into the cockpit
4. You can put your batteries back into the Touch Controllers and use them as normal now.
5. FlyInside should work normally from now on.

Hi. Have you solved this issue. I can get the blue dot on the screen but then I can not activate the buttun.
It should work for the touch controllers right?????

I have the same issue. To be clear - you cannot use a Touch Button as the interact?

So I should take the batteries out, pick a button on my HOTAS, then turn Touch back on?

Will this occur every time I launch the game?

Getting the same thing... I can't even get the blue dot to appear though. The thing let's me pick an interaction button on the oculus touch - I choose X. But then on the next screen I cannot click "Accept Button" to confirm that I want that button.
