Hmd not showing

Is someone perhaps able to maybe point me in the right direction?

I have been using flyinside with x plane just fine, however i try last night to find after clicking flyinside a window open saying my hmd was not recognized?
I ran this setup again of rift in case it is them, into DCS this seems fine so do other games, home ect appears to be working in rift.

Should i just go for clean install again? i did not want to do this as i have been mapping South America with the photo realistic sceneries and was worried i would lose all this work?

Any help is really appreciated and thank you

I just tried to reinstall flyinside, same error always. i will uninstall x plane and see what happens

Would like to report back to say that i just finish a few mins ago the full reinstall of xplane

loaded flyinside, this time oddly it went through loading distributables, (last time nothing) and it is working just fine

have been demoing vr a lot lately, this is such an awesome way to show it off

thank you for answering Tony/ techy anyone with similar issues I recommend the full install method, was long but worked atleast
