When I think about it again, I believe we need in generall to define 2 modes of operations:
Mode 1 - Rift on face
Mode 2 - Rift off face
To switch between the two modes we could either use the proximity sensor or a bind key.
What should happens when switching between the modes?
Mode 1 - Rift on face:
* The simulator windows gets the focus (in case, while having the rift off, we were viewing other windows (e.g. browser))
* virutal windows are enabled
* headtracking is enabled.
Mode 2 - Rift off face:
* virtual windows are disabled (allows interaction with those windows on the 2D monitor)
* headtracking is disabled and view is centered (view can be control with arrows)
cheers
