Flysinside while using Simbuddy and Inflight

Postby MrZoops » Fri May 05, 2017 9:07 pm

Is anyone currently flying with Simbuddy? www.simbuddy.com

First of all it seems like an awesome program and has been a lot of fun for the few days I have been getting into it but there is a problem.

The utility "Inflight" that you use during the flight to manage the passengers needs to be an imported window to have access while you fly. Once this window is imported into the game everything becomes a stuttering mess. If the window is running on my computer but NOT imported into the cockpit, everything is fine. The issue only arises once its an imported window. No other windows do this. In the past I have flown while watching movies and had webpages up with no problem. I even went and dropped the virtual window FPS down to 5 to see if it made a difference but it did not. I know this may not be a bug with FI, but I am wondering what would cause this.

I do not know enough about how the import window system works or their little client works but it does not seem to be taking many resources. If anyone could shed any light on this issue I would be so thankful.

I am working with the Sim buddy Dev to try to figure this out. So the client is a xpuipc client.

Dan, would the content of the imported window have anything to do with the performance or is it simply a "view?" I've never had an imported window drop the frames so drastically.
