Stock Cessna 172 attitude indicator missing

Postby jondave » Fri Jun 16, 2017 12:27 am

After working correctly for months the stock Cessna 172 has holes you can see through where the attitude indicator and VOR2 should be. This does not happen when run directly on FSXSE.
Anyone with a similar problem? Any ideas? Thanks

Try deleting you fsx.cfg again or saving it somewhere, sometimes the "trusted list" in the cfg can go wonky.

Or if that doesn't work go into steam, right click on fsx. Find the properties and view integrity of game files or similar. If there is anything missing then this option will re-acquire any lost files.

I confirmed the integrity of the files on steam without any change. Where do I find the fsx.cfg file and what exactly is this file?
Thanks

This is a config file that saves all your settings. You'll find it under the C drive user/your pc name/appdata/roaming/Microsoft/fsx and it will be a fsx.cfg file. Either save it somewhere or delete it. Restart flyinside and this fsx file will rebuild.

If you don't have "show hidden files" ticked then you won't see the appdata folder. Google how to show hidden files and folders. It's pretty straightforward ;)
