The B1900 seems to perform well enough, apart from the wings and engines not being visible from within the cockpit, but I am afraid that I have yet to try the b200.

How much FPS do you lose compared to default cessna for reference?!

I have just sat at Heathrow, on Ramp 334, with a fair bit of graphic detail going on in front of me, in each of the B1900 and Cessna 172 Skyhawk.

The B1900 gave 28-29/93 and the Cessna gave 36-37/90. I don't know why the latter, FI XP, framerates differ, but it would appear that the X-Plane rates drop by 8 or 9 frames, from the Cessna to the B1900.

It still works for me however.

Here ya go =

From my search =

Ah yes. That is a function of some optimizations that were done to the plane... the concept being, the parts that aren't within the camera's viewport are hidden, so as to save FPS. This is relatively easy to address for an end-user. Just open up the acf file in a text editor and do a search for

P _obja/0/_obj_hide_dataref thranda/parts/KillPt[1]

and

P _obja/1/_obj_hide_dataref thranda/parts/KillPt[2]

Just delete those lines, save the file, and reload the plane. (Might wanna keep a backup of the plane, though, in case you need to go back to the original.)

Get yourself Notepad++ and find these 2 lines then delete.......just click on save not save as.

Make sure you save the original acf file somewhere

No worries and that invisible wing/engines fix costs next to nothing, in terms of fps
