When the aircraft loads, XP displays a warning and hopefully you will be able to just OK that, as thereafter the sim should be flyable. I suppose you might just want to just delete the folder, as once FF fix the issue, they will allow users to download a full version, which will overwrite the existing files anyway.

I still don't understand why it wont let you use the plugin admin dialogue though

And we have a winner mate,yh this worked fine.Plane is now useable for me much appreciated again,as far as the other suggestions u made yes I did try all them b4 it was like the options had no click spot for mouse,blue dot or touch so just could not select the option I needed.but this method seems to have bi-passed that issue so all good cheers again,hopefully the problem gets sorted as these aircraft are not cheap to buy :D
