XP11 FI Stuck at waiting for simulator

So I fired up XP11 and FI and I noticed it just gets stuck at "Waiting for Simulator". Doesn't seem anyone else has seen this issue from a few searches. Any ideas?

Im having the same problem all I get is a curved desktop in front of me

This is normal when you are in the GUI until you set up your flight and you sit in the cockpit...

Have you ever started a new flight while you are in the GUI?

Yes, In the Sim preview window it shows me sitting in the cockpit, but in XP11 it never actually brings me in. XP10 I dont have this issue nor in P3D.

I'm having the same issue with Xplane 11 beta with an HTC-Vive. My Vive says "waiting for simulator" and the "preview" shows me inside the cockpit but it's not full screen on my vive. It's almost like my Vive is just mirroring my monitor preview.

Is there a way on the Flyinside app I can reset the HDMI outputs? I wonder if I set the wrong HDMI on the initial installation... tried re-installing but I didn't get that same config popup.

Flyinside works fine with FSX.

Hi mate I see you have 2 cards? Are you running some form of SLI ? Try disabling that if you are ?

Nah, it's just a dedicated PhysX card. Disabling it does nothing. It's really weird. FlyInside FSX is working flawlessly. Launching X-Plane 11 beta without VR and the game runs flawlessly. With VR, it never becomes fullscreen in the headset and displays the preview the entire time. The head tracks and everything correctly, it just never puts me in "the simulator".

I got the same issue last night. It went away after two PC restarts. After the flight was started, the VR works on screen but is not being sent to the headset.

It happened when I was on the old Piaggio from x-plane 10. Then I was flying from Dubai and it suddenly went dark and there were no cockpit textures. After this "upset" the problem started and it stayed until after multiple restarts.

When you lost cockpit textures did the entire sim go dark? This might be a side issue I had but in XP10 from JFK to ATL in the JAR A320, my entire sim went black screen halfway through the journey.

There's a dedicated thread for this problem. Based from what you said it seems to be a bug of FlyInside because it happens in X-Plane 10 AND X-Plane 11.
