Hi, thanks for checking. This is very strange, maybe it has something to do with the black x737 menu popping up in my sim? Do you know how to disable it?

Can you send a screenshot mate ? Do you see the window on the 2D screen on your desktop ?

The menu I was talking about is the one I have attatched. It sometimes appears, sometimes doesn't. The rest looks like on your screenshot, on the monitor I see the cursor and can click any knob, but in VR there is no cursor and the cockpit is slightly distorted (looks like expanding rubber when I look around).
Did you just copy the folder over to the "Extra aircraft" folder in the X-Plane root directory or did you do any additional steps? In the menu they state that you have to adjust the FOV for this airplane, but Flyinside overrides the FOV anyway right?

No mate pop the whole file into Laminar Research and try again. That's where mine is.

Yes it auto adjusts for Flyinside.

Okay I think I definitely found out what causes the problem:
I had my rendering setting set to high (HDR). When I set this to non-HDR or Maximum (SSAO+HDR) I have the mouse cursor in VR. Can you confirm this?
The problem is that Maximum kills my performance and disabling HDR makes the picture darker than Mordor, so high was the best compromise for me...

Edit: The distortion bug when looking around is also only present when setting rendering to high (HDR). Gone using one of the other settings. There is something wrong with this setting.

Ok, just wanted to report that, with Beta 16 and 17, which include several HDR fixes, the mouse cursor bug and the distortion bug setting HDR to "high" in the x737 are gone. If only the blackscreen thing would be fixed, XP 11 + Flyinside would be the perfect sim for me ;)

Eleusius: Could you check if setting the texture quality to "low" or "minimal" (in the X-Plane rendering settings) changes in terms of the black screen? When I set it to "low" or "minimal" the black screen happens very rarely to me. Don't forget to restart X-Plane after changing this setting.

Hi,

as I fly airliners only, my flights last from 2 up to 5 hours. I have so far experienced the blackscreen issue once, on my first and so far only international flight from EDDT to LFPG (textures set to high). Unfortunately I do not have much time and experiencing a blackscreen 30 minutes before approaching is frustrating to say the least, so I decided to wait until this issue is fixed, before I start a new flight. Sorry, but my new job only allows very limited spare time :(
Hoping this issue will be fixed soon,
best regards,

Eleusius
