TitanX or wait for 1080 ti ?

Avid XP / FlyInside flyer, currently with a 1080 gtx.

Looks as though the new 1080ti is "faster" than the Titan, but comes equipped with 1gb less VRAM (which I've heard may be important for XP in VR?).

Cost not a factor wihin reason, I want the best performance - any thoughts?

I know this is a dificult decission.
I didn´t want wait so I went with the Titan X, performance is great, but with the highest FI resolution, HDR on, and texture quality at medium in XP im scratching the 12GB limit.
