It's on page 2 but the link should take you there ok.

(had to get some sleep) Thanks Tony. I've read this thread before and tried the 1.8103 beta before [see post with log.txt]. Since we last spoke, I've uninstalled FI, XP11 completely, and Nvidia drivers and started over. No luck, the problem is even worse - the view inside the HMD looks as if someone is moving my two Oculus sensors in random directions.

Tony, double check something for me? >>> Part of the install of FLYINSIDE_XP_PRO_1.81_OVR_1300 where one selects the graphics card type, the window says "FLYINSIDE FSX". That is just a reused, generic banner is it not?

Tony,

More discovery >>> It is NOT Flyinside. Although other VR programs work great - I am getting the same latency and performance issues within the headset (Oculus Lounge) as soon I start my fresh install of X-Plane 11.
This is WITHOUT any of the following installed.

1. GeForce Experience
2. Flyinside
3. Nvidia Drivers
4. Third Party Addons

There is something incompatible on my machine between Oculus and X-Plane 11. This is Week 3 of this investigation and I have to step away for a bit >for sanity reasons<. DCS works fine, so I'll get my fix there until I am able to regain my composure. :D

Thanks for all the help! You Flyinside folks are the best there is.
-Cheers

Maybe check your tray, to see if you have any unnecessary apps, like Asus Sound Studio, running in the background. Pay particular attention to any that might try to place an overlay onto your games.

It may be a long-shot, but ASUS Sound Studio definitely stopped me running the latest version of Eve Valkyrie and it won't take too long at all to try out. Just stop the ones you don't need and then see if FI/XP will run OK

I haven't found that particular forum yet, Tony. I will continue searching - but I seemed to have two runtime folders within C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support. I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'll leave those alone for now.

Luck! I don't anything from ASUS running except the usual stuff; none of them intensive or herculean enough for me to worry about.

What concerns me at the moment are two things:

1) Whenver I start FlyInsde, the XP11 window comes up normally (this excludes wacky world within the HMD) and for a 1-2 seconds there are two X-Plane windows. A second window appears momentarily behind the first and then disappears. Blink and you miss it. That may be normal behavior because I'm usually hooded by the Oculus HMD. Mystery.

2) There seems to be redundant processes. Can someone please tell me if this is normal? Could it be a contributor, keeping in mind that everything else runs perfectly fine?

Tony,
I assume I need to install Teamviewer prior to any potential help session? If so, do I need a specific version?
