Update 1.81

Postby Es125 » Fri Jul 07, 2017 5:26 pm

Ok, nice to have the external views, but when I want to go back to
The cockpit view ... I can't re-center the view.

And how do you bring the X-Plane map up.

But beside this .... Nice job done.

Also unable to re-centre the view.

When using the mouse wheel to zoom the view rotates towards the captain's windshield. Makes zooming in on the FMC difficult.

Use your keys which you defined in Xplane for moving your position back to the cockpit.
We also cannot tell you which key you assigned to the map. By default it is "m". Otherwise you can press the mal button on the xplane menu bar on the upper right but this has nothing to do with FlyInside and is just basic X-Plane knowledge.

Hey,

The re-center works with the little mouse button on the Saitec x52 pro.

But still can't bring the Map/radio in to the cockpit.
Also ( from update 1.80 ) I can't use the mouse when the map/radio is on in the Flyinside view.

The default keys for moving your position are the cursors and "." and "," for moving forward and backward. Even if you re-centering is messed up with those standard keys you can always set your position to be exactly where you want it to be.

If you are in X-Plane press the "m" button (or whatever you defined for it) to bring up the map. Click on the spot in the upper right corner of the map window to make the internal map window and external map window (see the map window here: http://www.x-plane.com/manuals/desktop/images/navigation/X-Plane_11_map.png ).
Now it should be already viewable in VR. If not: Enter the FlyInside menu, go to SIM, add/import window and chose the map window.

If the map window (on your desktop screen!) is on the foreground of the X-Plane window and some areas are hidden due to that try to move the map window out of the X-Plane window

Okay, I am really glad to hear that.

One really well-meant advice from me is: Get to know the standard X-Plane with all of its controls and stuff. Some of the problems you had were not because of FlyInside but because of lacking from standard X-Plane knowledge. Invest some time to get to know X-Plane - it pays off in the end :)
