Virtual Windows XP11

Postby Sanga » Sat Jul 08, 2017 10:59 pm

Just downloaded the 1.8.1 for XP hoping to have the ATC/virtual window issue sorted however not sure if its just me, a setting or a known issue but if I try to import a virtual window it will not renter the sim unless the sim is the main window open. When I re enter the sim the virtual window is a mirror of the vr picture, its like looking into a mirror with a mirror behind you (infinite reflections).
I have the ATC (in windowed mode) behind it however I can't switch seem to switch to it.
Its not just ATC either, it can be any virtual window I try to add.

Any help appreciated.
Cheers Mat

For the ATC window, do not use the Import button. Just open the ATC window, by clicking on the headphones icon in the top right, and then click the top right hand corner. You will notice that this converts the ATC to a Windows window and when you enter VR mode, you should see it inside the cockpit. Just move it to where you want it and all should be good.

Could not have explained that better. Thanks Greyman!

Does this apply to all pop up windows like FMC?

Hi,

I think it depends on the fact if you can make the FMC as an external window.
