Well the latest is on the FlyInside facebook page yesterday. As follows:

"FlyInside P3D V4 Update !! Since LM will release a V4.1 on 10/10 we 'll wait to make sure that our add on works with the update. New ETA around october 12/13th."

I don't understand why they would not take the time to post this information here as well. Better communications would really be nice......oh well.

The beta versions are for our beta testers and they are busy finding bugs and testing the latest versions. We are holding out for p3d v4.1 so we can test compatibility before release ;)

Well mate, I can tell you that having tested 4.1 it's native VR is better than previous incarnations but it's still not a patch on FlyInside in P3D v3. There is still shearing and artifacting that makes it very hard on the eyes, so while it can be used more easily now it's only for a short while and I have to take the Rift off.

The good news is that I can see how awesome it will look when FI comes out for it. The draw distances are so much better, just like XP-11, and with ORBX and decent weather generation ( REX etc ) the whole shebang is totally brilliant. Get that v4.1 FI sorted and in our hands, and you guys will be able to hear the tears of joy from all around as we get stuck in! :D

I just tested native vr with 4.1.. still pretty awful.. juttery, stuttery, messy.. try KSAN with orbx.. normally around 35-44 fps for me on 4k with moderate settings (2D).. the goggle output was reporting 23 fps.. even after using oculus tray tool to set the sampling to 1.5 and turn off ASW it was still pretty bad.
I still dont understand why there is not at ATW option either in sim or in the tool (native in sim that is).

Heres to the new release of Flyinside once ready.. :)
