A question on the FlyInside resolution setting

Just want to understand this.

Is the resolution setting found in FlyInside settings (I'm using 2880x1620) the same thing as using the Oculus Debug Tool or the Oculus Tray Tool to increase the Super Sampling setting to like 1.5-1-7?

And if yes I guess it's no idea trying to use these tools to further increase the image quality when using FlyInside since that would only result in applying the same "tweak" twice but using different methods?
