Leap motion hands have stopped interacting.

Postby Britjet » Wed Aug 31, 2016 4:08 pm

Hi there,

My Leap motion hands worked fine the other day. Now they don't work at all.
All other input to P3D is fine eg mouse etc - and Leap Motion GUI shows good connection, good calibration etc throughout.
I get "blue hands" which appear correctly - but they don't interact with any switches or levers.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flyinside and LM Beta but no change.
Would anyone have any suggestions, please?

Thanks

Brit

Very strange! Could you e-mail me a log.txt from C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\FlyInside to dan@flyinside-fsx.com ? It should work if you see the blue hands, so something is going wrong.

Current solution is to load certain stock aircraft like the default C172 or Beech Baron 58, before switching to another aircraft of your choice. Still working on a robust solution!

I have an add question: Can I purposefully produce this as an intended behavior? I'm currently building a hardware MCP panel, and would love to use the leap to see my hand positions, but actually use my hardware knobs and switches to activate the actions. Leap would then be ideal so I could see where my hands are, but I wouldn't want it to interact with anything. Is that at all possible?
