Aerobask Eclipse 500NG crashes with Flyinside

Postby gcbraun » Sun Dec 10, 2017 4:57 am

Hi, I am using the latests XP11.10 and the 550 is crashing seconds after loading when using Flyinside.

I have tried without FI and the crash does not happen.

The crashes happen a couple of seconds after the FI window shows up on the simulator.

Below the latest lines of the crash log:

Hi,

please check this one out: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=6131
Could it because of FlyWithLua or XPRealistic?

Maybe Tony also has this plane in his hangar....

I've just tried to load this aircraft, for the first time since i updated to 11.10r3, and also get a crash to desktop.

As this aircraft was working fine with 11.05 and FI XP 1.83, it certainly looks like something has changed and hopefully someone can get to the bottom of what that might be.

I have attached the log.txt file and it should be pretty easy to replicate, providing of course, the devs have the aircraft.

Good that I am not alone. Very similar to my crash log. Perhaps it is related with the SASL plugin?

The strange thing is that the similar Aerobask Panthera works and does not crash.

I've found a work around! It is possible to revert to xplane 11.05b. if you run the xplane installer and select "install a second copy" the second copy will be 11.05b you can even save time by non selecting any secenry to download but instead simply copy over and overwrite all your global scenery, custom scenery, preferences ect.. to the new xplane folder. This will save may hours and gbs of data. Finally install flyinside 1.81 into this new Xplane folder and done! Eclipse works like a dream with VR.

https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/f ... pse-550ng/

this might also offer a clue as to a possible solution. i will test it when i get the chance, but in the meantime, it might be worth a try.

In short, just reinstall the Eclipse aircraft and re-activate it. maybe the XP update process is in the habit of corrupting the key file???

Edit: Nope. That didn't work. :(

Have the same problem..any chance we can get a fix for this..? without reverting to an older Xp11 version. As the plane works fine in flat screen so its got to be a Flyinside issue or we need Aerobask to look into it. No luck Aerobask seemed to have handballed the issue.
