X-plane 11.10beta7 released.

If anyone has upgraded please post if you have found any major compatibility issues with flyinside. There are some new helicopter features I want to test but don’t want to have to revert to 11.05 if possible as there are some major helicopter shadow problems in that version. I’m currently on beta 5.

Well I updated and no new issues or major blockers to report so far.

Performance hasn’t changed noticeably. For my settings I’m getting about 56/90 without ASW. With ASW it’s fluctuating away from 45/45 instead of holding solid as it should! I’m also getting dropped out to the FI menu very frequently for a few seconds at a time. In addition, even with max object density, I’m getting objects disappearing as I get closer to them (becoming transparent). Some kind of LOD issue that I’m not sure is x-plane or FI related. Hopefully Dan can take a look at those issues. All of these have been previously reported as bugs. Apart from that it’s running very well.

I also updated. It seems to me that I get a few more fps. I run pretty well maxed out on the xplane side and since I don't use ASW, I see 30/90-92. But it doesn't even get close to making me sick. It is smooth and delightful. I have been testing all my planes with PlaneCommand to see which ones need to be customized to make the autopilot work correctly. So I've been flying circuits and changing planes.

So far 11.10b7 working well for me except when I switch to External View->Chase, it did not work right as it is distorted and out of place. External view->Chase was working fine in 11.05 and prior releases. I am using Rift.
