Violent Camera Pitching in custom aircraft

Postby joorepalv » Wed Jan 10, 2018 10:35 am

Since the last update of Flyinside 1.90 and Xplane 11.10 my Oculus Rift in-cockpit camera is pitching up and down violently.
I cannot find a fix for it, I have tried all settings inside X-plane Graphics and in the Flyinside Settings options.
It only happens on custom imported aircraft.
I hope anyone can help me out.

Thank you,

H Joore

Hi Tony, thanks for responding.

I have installed X-plane 11.11r2.
The camera pitching happens only on downloaded third party airplanes and my own creations using plane-maker.
Aircraft from X-plane 10 imported in X-plane 11 (eg the Robinson R22) have the same camera pitching motion.

The camera pitching motion only happens when in 3D Cockpit view, not in any other view.
It only happens with Extra Aircraft and older aircraft types, not Laminar Research XPlane 11 aircraft.

You can test it with the X-plane 10 Robinson R22 helicopter. The view also gets skewed after looking around a little and doesn't return to normal aspect ratio in the Rift inside the simulation.

So to confirm, you've put the R22 from 10 into 11?
