MSAA in Prepar3d

Postby mick6318@gmail.com » Fri May 06, 2016 6:34 am

I am unable to find the MSAA setting in Prepar3d, only the smaa setting
In fsx I get both options, and I enable both to ultra in fsx and the jaggies disappear , but with prepar 3d I can only enable smaa and the jaggies are still there
Is there something I am missing

Thanks

If you click on the Menu button in the main/little FlyInside pop up you get when in te sim, it takes you to the twin panel display with the big sky and gridded white floor where on the left are the mirror, enter the sim, and other buttons. On the right where you can see the sim window and a bit of desktop, up at the top are some buttons and one of those is the settings button for FlyInside. In there is MSAA.

Robert, this actually differs between FlyInside FSX and FlyInside P3D. A bit confusing, my apologies

To enable MSAA in FlyInside P3D, use the standard Prepar3D graphics settings, rather than a FlyInside setting. "Options -> Settings -> Display -> Graphics". Under "Image and Texture Quality" there is an "MSAA" dropdown which should work :)
