No I didn't change the Direct mode..

I guess I may be a bad beta tester because the 5960X overclocked clobbers all the other chips...
Maybe the 8 cores and multi threading performance are just muscling the Vive/P3D/FlyInside combo into working?

Still don't understand why it can't work for you guys with everything turned down and disabled.

You do have an uber pc BOZ and i bet you'll soon have a 1080 gpu :) maybe you've just found a super sweet spot ? Or as you say , your system muscles everything to working just so ? Hopefully Dan will find a eureka moment soon ? :)

I do have Hyper-threading off as well if that matters. So I am just doing 8 core not the 16 virtual...

i have the same thing i when i run flyinside at max and p3d at max funny thing is when i check the flyinside fps im getting 60/90 but man does it look good:) i run i7 skylane 4.7hgz and a gtx 980ti i hope they can solve the flicking even with high fps. I mean it looks good with the lower settings but MY GOD set it all to max and man its really really good :)
