Can't get past loading screen

Hi guys, I've tried everything to get this to work including uninstalling and reinstalling the game on steam. I load it from the Flyinside desktop icon but the screen just hangs there and I have to close it down using task manager in the end. Any ideas?

Specs are I7 4790 3.60ghz, 16g ram, GTX980, 100gb SSD, 1tb HDD, running on windows 10.

Have you tried running it from steam ?

First let me apologise for the double post. I have tried it directly from steam and the same thing happens unfortunately.

What appears on your desktop when the software hangs? Does a simulator window appear (black), do you see the "opening screen"? Also, does your Vive turn on at all?

Let me know, I'd like to figure out what's wrong

Hi,

The initial Microsoft FSX steam edition screen hangs on desktop and the Vive powers up (base stations don't though, I have to manually boot them). and that's it. I have the Vive environment in the headset but no game.

I have the same issue. VR is launched, launching FSX either throguh Flyinside FSX shortcut or steam shows the FSX loading logo hanging and thats it. No crash messages or anything. Is there any information I can provide to help?
