Would it be possible to have a simulation of your hands when interacting with the flight controls instead of seeing the simulated VIVE controllers? The Raw Data game does this and it adds a lot of realism to the whole experience. Feels more immersive to be seeing what could be your own hands as opposed to seeing the VIVE controllers.
Also, I would like to suggest an idea of 'trigger-less' axis action. When you hover the laser beam over an axis-controllable switch it gets highlighted. I think it's unnecessary complexity to hold trigger and scrolling wheel with you thumb at the same time.
I've had a few requests for Vive-controllers-as-hands now. I have a few more pressing bugs, but I'll look into it eventually
Thovart - What sort of action would you see activating the twist? I have the trigger right now, so that you can hold the trigger down and then not worry about aiming your controller while adjusting.
I would love to have the option of the laser pointer turned down 90 degrees from the controller handle instead of straight out from the handle. Right now it is very awkward to manipulate controls that are right in front of me because my wrist does not want to bend that way.
I would like to know if rudder twist is going to be added to the controller? It could be activated when the yoke is manipulated. Please let me know if this feature is being discussed. I would love to see it. Thank you
