FSX Judder, 500ms Freezing Stutter

I'm a long supporter of FlyInside, logged over 600 hours on my DK2.

I tried the demo for the HTC vive, and just had a bad experience trying to figure out how to stop it from juddering. Any ideas? I tried playing around with the video settings, no help.

Setup:
i74770k @4.5GHz, 16GB ram, 500GB SSD dedicated for gaming, 980GTX.
