Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr anyone fixed the problem some are having with the gtx1080 its doing my head in can't even get a 5min flight in :twisted:

Still working on this issue Stewart, and the logs/screenshots you've been e-mailing are super helpful. Others still getting this crash as well?

This is what i did to fix the problem and its even still working with the lastest drivers

1 updated the gtx 1080 drives to 375.86 latest works as well
2 updated p3d client to latest ver
3 updated p3d contents to latest
4 updtaed the p3d sdk to the lastest ver

no more frezzing i have done 2hours+ in the game max setttings in flyinside and p3d as16 day,night,storm still stable :)

let me know if this works for others having this problem works for me

I have switched over to X-Plane as its my sim of choice and it runs perfectly for me.
I tested P3D semi-recently, and wasn't noticing any crashes like before, but the framerate sent to my HMD was low and juddery, even though my P3D framerate is super high (I also tried limiting my P3D fps).

I'll reinstall P3D and test it out over the next couple of days and report back.

EDIT: Crashing is definitely gone. Not sure what fixed it, perhaps a recent nvidia driver or steamvr update.
However, still getting the stuttering described above. I'll make a new thread because its unrelated to this.
