When it freezes again can you look in the FlyInside folder and check if an error log has been generated then upload here for Dan ? The folder is in the same folder area as your FSX config. Will be listed under flyinside and the log.txt will be there.

Thank you . With the time difference for Dan in the US give him a little while and he'll look over that for you . Just confirm you are not using DX10 preview mode in FSX? If yes try disabling this feature .

Last little try mate. In the FlyInside settings page try turning the settings down from ultra to high or even standard then try a restart. Plus did you try fsx and flyinside without the av8r plugged in ?

This is a strange one for sure, I haven't seen this issue before. So it works well for those 10 seconds, and then just gets you stuck on the "home" screen?

Could you confirm that you aren't running any add-ons?

Correct. For about 10 seconds I can look around in the cockpit and then I'm hosed up back to the menu.

Hey guys,
I installed the latest flyinside and oculus and graphic card software. When I try to open flyinside, prepar3d opens but then that's it. It doesn't trigger for oculus to work, I just see the oculus home screen. I did check the box that says to allow third party developers.
I also did delete the flyinside log and the prepared 3d and still nothing.
Thabk you

Hi and welcome to flyinside :) is your p3d installed in the default location and is flyinside going to that location ? Also is the hdmi plugged directly into your cv1 ? Where are you trying to run p3d from ? It doesn't work from the home store. Can you open other programs ok? Is it a clean install of p3d or do you have addons enabled? Do you see the Flyinside welcome screen ?
