Hey Tony,
Yeah the oculus is connected directly to the graphics card.
I installed flyinside to the correct folder and I see it in there.
When I tried it the first time it told me to assign a key to set the default view for the camera and then another key that I don't remember. The both keys I set are on my joystick and I tried pressing it during the launch.
When I try to open flyinside it just launches prepar3d and then nothing happens.
The only addons I have is pmdg and when I tried to load it it crashed and said it ran out of memory, so I tried it again with a default plane and nothing happened since then. Help..

OK delete the p3d config and the Flyinside config again. If that doesn't work then inside the Flyinside folder where you find the config you'll see an error log.txt. Could you upload it here for Dan to check if the error happens again. Try to remember your button assignments because some are very necessary mate :)

I tried to verify the integrity of the files on steam to make sure I didn't have any corrupted files. Everything came back ok. I started it again with the same result. I'm inside the plane looking around for about 10 seconds then back to main screen, then it crashes. Any more ideas? I want to buy the full version, but I'd like to get it working before I do this.

I just tried reinstalling FlyInside and had the same problem. I'm trying to think of anything else I can try here.

Do you want me to upload the mdmp crash log from FSX?

Did you delete p3d cfg and flyinside cfg ?

If yes start p3d without the rift on. Set a flight starting in the default aircraft like the trike. Save it as default start up, restart with rift on and what happens mate ?

Who are you talking to? Me or the other fellow who kindly hijacked my post? 8-)

I'm using FSX Steam Edition, Windows 10. I have deleted the config files. I have reinstalled Flyinside and I'm in the process of redownloading FSX Steam Edition to try that.

Not directed at you Tony! I appreciate you guys trying to help. It just clogs up the post with unrelated problems when someone else comes in and posts about P3D.
