fsuipc not loading in fsx addon menu via flyinside launch

Hi everyone
If I launch fsx via the standard fsx icon , fsuipc loads fine, as it has done for years, with access from the fsx addon menu. If however I launch fsx via flyinside, I notice that fsuipc does not load into the fsx addon menu at all, and thus I cannot therefore map controls for oculus cv1. Wondering if anyone else struck this problem or can suggest a fix. Basically which file should I check, location of folder ,and most important, can i open and modify it. Appreciate any help.

Hi,

That's an odd one, I'm able to access FSUIPC ok through my menu.

I wonder if it might be worth running the FSUIPC installer again?

FSUIPC is launched from the file dll.xml that is located in C:\Users\[yourusername]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE . Look for the section that looks like this:

Thanks for your replies Bruce and Sharkku. I had already come across the fsuipc launch file, in ....AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX. The (dll.xml) file looks the same as yours Bruce. I was thinking perhaps fsuipc was launched from a different file by flyinside, but obviously not. I am running fsx acceleration sp2, Windows 7 pro. One aircraft I run in fsx is ( vrsimulations F/A 18E). It even generates an error window saying that it cannot find fsuipc ( but only if I launch fsx via flyinside) . Before I decide to reinstall fsuipc4, perhaps you guys might be extra generous and have a look at the attached files. I can't see anything wrong but a different set of eyes might make all the difference.
Since there is a limit of 3 attach files , here is a copy of the launch statement in dll.xml which is in my ( FSX\ Modules ) folder. My FSX is installed in its own dedicated hard drive but I dont think that is a problem.

Sorry, here's the dsd file again. the first one was a log when fsx was launched normally. This attachment is when fsx launched via flyinside

Have managed to solve the problem by deleting my FSUIPC4.dll and reinstalling my original version of FSUIPC ( 4.934). I will probably have another attempt at updating to 4.955 soon, as I haven't heard of anybody else having my drama.

Strange issue, post back once you've tried 4.955 and let us know how you make out with it
