Folks!! This is huge!

Oculus has already implemented Asynchronous Spacewarp in to their runtime.. You can activate it in the registry: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comment ... e_you_can/
I'll try to explain it in laymans terms.. If you use preset "ctrl + NUM3", it wil cap the game to 45fps, it will then ESTIMATE what frames you're using in between, and it will fill it up to 90.. Goodbye judder! You can use preset ctrl + NUM4 for auto, but I don't see the benefit of that, since FSX and P3D almost always goes below 90 anyways.. With NUM3 preset you will almost always have fluid experience, given that you're above 45..

I've done some testing with Flyinside now.. It looks like ASW is trying to get a "hold on Flyinside", but Flyinside keeps overtaking.. So it's semi-fluid with flyinside.. Hope Dan can make the changes so Flyinside will work good with ASW and the new nVidia driver.. I tested ASW with American Truck Sim and Euro Truck.. It worked wonders.. I could crank up the resolution to 400% in cities, and it was fluid as hell!!

Thanks.. Right now it's unplayable.. I did some more testing.. Really jaggy.. I see smooth frames every now and then

agreed. I'm flying the Aerosoft A32x with ASN16 and a few complex airports like Zurich, sliders on a very conservative setting , mostly get between 25 - 45 fps.

I've got my FSX/P3D preset to 30 FPS for MP judder. Will this help or hinder?

I've managed to test it. I don't see a big difference. If anything the ASW version seems a bit more choppy.

I've added the items to the registry, and activated ASW, but I don't see any difference.

Is there anyway to tell if you are actually using ASW?
