the highlights of all instruments are moving away from them

Postby israelz74 » Sat Oct 08, 2016 1:19 pm

Hello

I am running 1.62, oculus cv1, p3d V2.5.

I had this problem, ever since using flyinside:

The positions of highlights of instruments, are affected by the rotation of the aircraft. More specific - the pitch.
So when i am on ground or level flight, i use the haze pointer or later the leapmotion hand, and the highlight
appears precisely covering the real instrument. Gauge, button, handle etc.
But as the aircraft pitches up or down, the highlight appears to be drifting with the pitch...

At small pitch you can guess with your haze or finger, and find the highlight around the instrument.
But this is un-usable that way. As soon as the aircraft pitches, the highlight is away from the real instrument and you cannot find it.

Does this happen to anybody?
What could it be?

Also, i have cancelled the head momentum effect of p3d.
But again, it does not happen due to aircraft accelerating, but aircraft pitching.

Hi Israel,

The severity of this effect is increased greatly both in longer aircraft (passenger jets), and if camera momentum is enabled.

This is fixed in Prepar3D 3.3+, but unfortunately still somewhat of a problem in 2.5.
