XP11 Recording Issues

Postby m1llipede » Thu Mar 16, 2017 12:42 am

I have a Nice PC with GTX 1080 and it's great. Working through the Beta bugs but it's all good. Really loving FlyInside it's fantastic. It's every thing X-Plane always wanted to be.

My goal is to use the File>Toggle Video Recordings Function to record my flights then review inside of X-plane normally, without the Oculus. I really enjoy recording my flights, especially landings and watching from different angles to improve. The best way to do that would be to use my Oculus CV1 and fly normally, then review using X-Plane tools. That doesn't seem to be possible. Did I miss some basic function here? I can still watch my videos as recorded MP4s but that's about it. The problem is that my flights aren't showing up. Although they do show up fine if I startup X-plane outside of Flyinside and fly normally. Here's an example: https://youtu.be/b4Gi0PUL4xU Not great flying, I know.

Also, when I record, I get a windowed version when I play back, which isn't accessible through the X-Plane flight loader for review. When I first installed FlyInside a couple months back, I had really great full screen recordings, but then I started messing with the settings and now I no longer can get full screen recordings using the File>Toggle Video Recordings Function which causes my files to look like they do on my monitor, while using FlyInside. Here's an old flight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BSJKxucuIg not sure what I did to make that happen, but it worked. Still would be great to be able to view in X-plane normal tools to change camera angles!

Thanks!

Thanks all!
