Hi Guys,
Is anyone using PF3 or Pro ATC successfully while in the Rift?
I've been trying PF3, which is my favourite although I have both. I've been unable to get started while in the Rift, although that maybe just me. If anyone has any advice I'd be very grateful.

Hi Tony,
I think I've solved my problem. In monitor view PF3 gives the correct clearance frequency in an initial FSUIPC window. That didn't happen in the Rift. When I got the correct frequency at the planning stage, and entered it myself while parked in the Rift, the PF3 info appeared automatically as a popup. After that, all proceeded normally with both audio and text. I didn't have to import anything from Desktop, so if you have the correct clearance frequency to hand before starting the flight, PF3 seems perfectly compatible with Flyinside/P3D, and the Rift.

Let's assume the problem's solved for now. If not, I'll report back.
I haven't tried Pro ATC-X. It's a good ATC program, but I just hate while flying high over the Andes, to hear yet again, some chopper pilot getting clearance to take photos over London!

I like proatc but I can't figure out how to keep the little control window on all the time. I press something on the menu and then it disappears. I also can't find where you have an option to bind it to your flight controller. If I could do that then it wouldn't be a problem but I don't want to keep moving my headset to press "1" on the keyboard to get the menu.

I tried a flight with Pro ATC-X tonight. I have controller buttons mapped to zero and 1. For me, 0 brings up the menu window, and 1 calls Clearance, while 2 calls direct without the menu. I checked I had the correct Com frequency but unfortunately, Clearance never replied! 
So I never even got to hear if that wretched chopper ever got his pictures! 
I switched to PF3, and all went smoothly as before.
Sorry I wasn't of any help with Pro Atc X.
