The Home of FlyInside Flight Simulator FFS FSX P3D and X-PLANE Message Board

I used the Oculus a couple of months ago with FSX and it was really smooth and I had no issues. However this time it is really laggy, when I move my head in-game, I can see the edge of the application window where it hasn't loaded in that section yet / mapped the movement of my head fast enough. I have played around with the settings and the performance was pretty much the same if I put the settings up or down. It only seems to be doing with FSX. I have ran a couple of other games and it has been absolutely fine on them. Does anyone know what might be causing it?

My PC specs are below:

i5 4690k at 4.7GHz
16GB of DDR3 RAM
GTX 1070 8GB

I also had really bad performance. I turned off Oculus ASW from the FlyInside menu and it was 100% better.

Also for some reason other aircraft traffic really hampers FPS.
