FSX Crash on Set up

I purchased the full version of FlyInside and hoped this would work as I use my VR Headset for lots of other games, but when I am trying to center my head on start up it crashes.
I get the error message 'Flyinside was unable to connect your simulator to your VR Headset'
My guess is its something to do with the HDMI, GPU & Monitor. Could someone tell me how to plug the monitor & headset into the same graphics card?
