Hello,

currently there are more key binding options than keys and switches on my joystick.

How about adding virtual keys to the "interaction panel" (the little panel that pop up when you press the interaction key).

lovely greetings

Have you guys tried a virtual keyboard and bringing it inside Flyinside ? Not sure it will work as I never thought to try it :)

Hi Toni,

with all due respect to the keyboard (or a virtul keyboard), sometimes it is much easier simply to interact with the GUI.

I imagine this feature to have for each function in the "Binding" Setting page, the following options:
<Bind a key> and
<add to interaction panel>

or you know what, maybe even better: add all those fuctions to a sub-menu of the interaction panel. (maybe even ordered in sub-sub-menues if space is a problem).

cheers

just as an fyi, I discovered by accident that flyinside allows for button "chording" (at least on my saitek gear). So for example, you can decide that button 1 + hat up= binocular zoom in, but button 2 + hat up = toggle night mode. I found that opened up a lot of configuration options with limited buttons.

I discovered this by doing all my bindings when my throttle was in the reverse detent position, and then nothing would work when I was flying. It wasnt until I looked in the actual cfg files that I saw it was considering the button combination to be the actual binding.

Again, AutoHotkey is an solution for any of your options:

- create a virtual keyboard working with FI
- create a clickable pop-up GUI like this:

- remap your joystick buttons with infinite combinations.
