Wouldn't it be possible to at least show the position values on demand? That would it make way more easier to modify aircraft.cfg later.

I do not see anything difficult is to change the Aircraft. cfg file. I did this once after installing the simulator FSX and Prepar3D and forget about this problem forever.

For FSX/P3D, I had to use a program called Xpadder (and I see that there is a program called AutoHotkey as well) that can turn the POV hat positions into keyboard sequences that move the eyepoint (combinations of Control, Shift, Enter, and backspace), With DCS World, you can access the individual POV positions as (POV_L, POV_R, POV_UR, POV_DL, etc) - not sure why you can't in FSX/P3D

Changing is indeed no problem but how to find the values that match prefered position? I tried for some planes but adjusting values than test and correct is really boring an will never be perfect.

It is not so difficult in fact, you need to assign a button "Reload aircraft" in the simulator settings .Create and load flight. Then open aircraft.cfg file , change the value "View", save the changes , restart the plane by pressing the selected key.
