Reset LeapMotion tracking?

In the A2A 182 and Realair Lancair Legacy, and probably everything else I try, the switches and gauges highlights are appearing above the actual switches, meaning I have to hit a spot above the actual switch for the action to work. This makes everything very hit and miss. I've seen videos where this isn't the case, so I was wondering if this is a known issue and if there is a way to adjust the mapping between the actual buttons and where the Leapmotion thinks they are?

Also, the control of the throttles and other axels is very slow - It takes maybe 20 seconds to push the throttle in full using the Leapmotion. I have a throttle quadrant so it's not that important, but I wonder if anyone else has solved that issue? I'm using the latest P3D FSUIPC with all my controls mapped through it.
