Multiple Monitors

Hi - I've not been using FlyInside very long so forgive me if I'm simply doing something wrong!

I have a super-wide 2560x1080 (display port) monitor as my main screen an older 1920x1080 (DVI) monitor as a secondary screen. I have two desks. One with the super-wide that is my general gaming desk and I have a second smaller desk for flight sim use. The flight sim desk has a Saitek Cessna yoke, throttle quadrant and trim wheel (plus pedals). They are right next to each other with the gaming PC in the middle. I do this because it saves me building a second PC just for the flight SIM. I don't SIM enough to warrant that at the moment.

Of course I also have an HMD (or I wouldn't be here!) - the Rift CV1

So my problem has been that I was not able to get P3D and FlyInside to work when I had both monitors powered up. Try as I might I could not get the SIM to come up on the DVI monitor so the FI window would just sit there showing part of the extended desktop and saying it was waiting for the SIM.

My solution to this is that I switch the super-wide to a different input so that it vanishes from Windows when I'm wanting to fly. A problem with this however is that FI keeps popping up the "choose network card" screen which I completely forget about and have to take my HMD off.

So, am I doing something wrong?

I should probably add that I haven't used P3D much as I got much better graphics from X-Plane but things are really good in VR in P3D so for now I have switched.
