Hi nubzor!
Have you found a solution for the problem with FI and SODE? I have a similar issue: I've recently installed an Add On Scenery which relies on SODE for its runway and taxiway lighting. When I launch FSX normally, the RWY lighting appears correctly, but in Flyinside, the runway is dark without any lighting.
Any idea why the lighting would work fine in normal FSX, but not appear in the Rift?
EDIT: Figured it out. Turns out the following lines need to be added to fsx_Flyinside.cfg:
SimObjectPaths.[XX]=C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE\data\SimObjects
SimObjectPaths.[XX]=C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjects
They were present in the FSX.cfg, but not in fsx_Flyinside.cfg.
