Flyinside crashes with Active Sky 2016 ans ASCA

Running into a problem using Flyinside with FSX:SE , Active Sky 2016 and ASCA. With AS2016/ASCA running, I start Flyinside which starts FSX:SE - All works in the main menu even to the point of setting up a flight - just whn the flight finishes loading - FlyInside crashes - FSX:SE is still running but the HTC Vive headset is black - the mirror of Flyinside, if visible - crashes. Running the same flight without AS2016/ASCA all works great - AS2016/ASCA and FSX:SE all run fine outside of Flyinside, so definitely some interaction between AS2016/ASCA and Flyinside. Would appreciate any guidance on how to avoid crashing FlyInside.
