[Solved] Aerosoft Airbus v1.8 problem

Postby Antonisrho » Sun Apr 30, 2017 2:39 pm

Hi,

I also posted this in the Compatibility section, so please delete the other post there as this one is the relevant section. The performance of v 1.8 is much better in almost all planes except the aerosoft airbus. It won't "put" me inside the cockpit - it keeps trying to put me but then takes me back to the main "virtual desktop screen". When I look in my monitor P3d window I see a freeze every 2 seconds (it's when Flyinside tries to put me in the cockpit). Aerosoft Airbus was working fine in 1.7 with even lower FPS.

I even reinstalled v1.71 but the problem with the Airbus remains. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to uninstall 1.8 completely and reinstall 1.71? I'm also using the latest nvidia drivers 381.89 which appear stable rerading VAS. I tried rolling back to 376.33 (the previous stable ones) and the problem with the Airbus remains. This issue appears only in the Aerosoft airbus

Can anyone else confirm this ?

Specs:
Windows 10 version 1511
Oculus CV1 (app version 1.14.0.375447 (1.14.0.378771))
Nvidia GTX 970.
16GB Ram
i7-4770K 4.3GHz (OC)

Regards,
Tony

UPDATE - Solved

I deleted the prepar3d_flyinside.cfg and recreated a new default flight based on the prepar3d default flight and everything is back to normal again. Aerosoft AIrbus works great again! Great FPS in v1.8!
