Thanks for the help file on VR in P3D V4. Answers a lot of questions for me . Sadly I dont see the worth of spending £60 upgrading again yet as a number of people seem to be running into multiple problems with V4 on it`s initial debut.

I just bought P3D V4 and ran a short 2 hr flight in VR and it worked flawlessly for me. The detail of the ground is much clearer. I saw things that I had not noticed before. The video was smooth and no errors at all. I am not sure of how FI will enhance this experience, but, I am looking forward to it. SO the built in VR worked fine for me. Even with the new clarity I still can't find my lost co-worker.

I think there was a thread from many months ago about this missing co worker ??? I'll see if I can dig it out.

There's enough good things to make P3dv4 a sound investment-you get a whole sim for the price of an addon!
And the VR works reasonably well out of the box

Forgive me for being slow, I'm old what can I say, but are all you p3d peeps actual pilots or students, as I thought that it wasn't available to the general public? Have I misunderstood or is that rule not strictly applied?

That rule is not enforced.

Hi Tony, Thanks for the thought. Someone did supply me with a link to a map that shows the possible hiding spots. Unfortunately I am not enough of an accomplished pilot to actually find all of those places. I get lost in those mountains. It is a good thing I am not in a real plane

Yeah its just fsx over and over again. About as disappointing as fsw, but at least we get to keep our addons. What it means for me and a majority of others is that we will be able to use pmdg and fslabs aircraft without running out of VAS, a problem only exacerbated by FI. Hopefully it wont be to hard to port FI over, pretty much all of the other p3d V3 addons are going to be updated pretty easily.[/quote]

As its a 64bit sim it may start out with little to distinguish it from the 32bit version
But it opens the door to a huge range of new possibilities
Mathijs Kok, the administrator from Aerosoft has the opinion that within months P3D V3 will be a dinosaur
After months of testing & seeing the potential of V4, he has come to this conclusion
Lets wait and see what we have this time next year
With competition from FS2, FSW & X-Plane, all now 64bit sims, LM will not be so complacent as maybe it was before
Just look at the upcoming LOWE release for FS2
The first screen shot could almost pass for a photo
