Fatal Error when click "Fly Now"

Postby timckchan » Sun Jul 09, 2017 3:46 am

I am using i7-4790K, 16G RAM, WIN-7, GTX1060, Oculus Rift on my system.

Freshly install FSX-SE. Sim runs fine without FlyInside. With FlyInside, whenever I click "Fly Now" under "Free Fly" I get Fatal Error.

16.2636 Rendering\TextureQueueSharedSurface.cpp 21 QTex { w = 2880, h = 1620, fmt = 10, ct = 5, flags = 0}
16.2681 Utils\Asserts.cpp 70 FlyInside Fatal Error Encountered (-2005532292, 0)
Rendering\TextureQueueSharedSurface.cpp: Line 24

Attached is the full Error Log file.
Please help.

Hi Tim,

It looks like FlyInside is having trouble connecting simulator/monitor images to the headset. Do you have both your monitor and the Oculus Rift plugged into your GTX 1060 (rather than one plugged into the Intel HD)?

Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. My problem solved. Found out FlyInside does not like multi monitors system. I had 3 monitors plus the Oculus connected to my system when FlyInside fail. I disconnected the other two monitors from the system then FlyInside start working. Now everything is working.

Thanks
